Extracted from olives cured with the elements of the sea for over 600 years. Produced at the north-western region of the Aegean Sea, on the island of Lesvos. The trees are treated with the salty sea breeze 365 days a year. The olives are carefully grown and collected by local olive tree farmers and the oil is pressed at the fair-trade olive pressing stone mill of Michalis, Stratis and Parashos. The local microclimate, the unique variety of Kolovi olives and the interaction with the sea element define this exceptional olive oil, the Olive Oil from the Sea.
Pure, no chemical additives. Cold-pressed solely by mechanical means, extracted with water pressing temperature below 27C. High concentration of polyphenols, unsaturated fats and antioxidants.
